Gradiška is one of the main border crossings between Republika Srpska (Bosnia and Herzegovina) and Croatia, on the route linking Banja Luka with Zagreb. It connects the Bosnian town of Gradiška with Stara Gradiška on the Croatian side of the Sava river. Croatia has been part of the Schengen area since 2023, so this crossing is now an external Schengen border. Since 19 May 2026, traffic has been rerouted to a new bridge over the Sava, about 5 km from the town center, after part of the old 1956 bridge collapsed — for now this is the only active crossing point. The live cameras on this page show the current, rerouted location, so check before you travel whether it's still the active one, since work on a permanent solution may change.
