Vinjani Gornji is a border crossing between Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina near Imotski, on the route toward Posušje — known on the Bosnian side as Osoje. It is a permanent international crossing for both passenger and freight road traffic, completed in April 2017, with construction funded by Croatia's Ministry of Finance at a total cost of around 26.5 million kuna. The crossing matters both economically and for passenger travel in this part of Herzegovina and Croatia's Dalmatian hinterland — in summer it is used by tourists heading from the Croatian coast into inland Bosnia and back, and in winter by residents of Posušje crossing over to the Croatian side. Unlike most of the other crossings in this set, Vinjani Gornji does not sit on the Serbia–Bosnia border, but on a stretch of the Croatia–Bosnia border well away from the Drina and Sava river routes that define the more easterly part of that border.
